“ I went to Mei’s recently. The food was amazing, service was awesome. I was severed by the best and most beautiful waitress Ana. She was very helpful and sweet. I had the chicken fried rice, it was very filling and warmed me up from the Chicago weather. I would definitely recommend and adding some soy sauce. If you like spice, add the chilly oil. Overall great experience, the atmosphere is amazing. It’s nice and clean. I love it, would go again. ”
“ I really don't understand the low rating that this place has. The breakfast is amazing (I stopped halfway to take the picture, imagine more egg and 1.5 more sausages in there), great size and quality and with the vouchers from the Best Western it ends up being very cheap. The staff is super attentive and kind and the place is beautiful (it might seem a bit dark from the outside, trust me, just walk in) ”
“ Very good breakfast. Potatoes were like something we'd make at home, eggs perfectly made like we asked and the amount of bacon was great. Definitely worth more than we paid. Also, dumplings/pot stickers were omg amazing and the sauce was so so good. ”
“ They’re open later than most options around here, have fantastic service and delicious food. Not loud, exceptionally clean, and worth visiting repeatedly to try everything on the menu. ”
“ I recently ordered takeout from Mei’s Chinese Restaurant in Chicago and loved the vegetable fried rice! It was so flavourful, and the crunchy bean sprouts were a great touch. The next day, I went back for lunch, but the fried rice wasn’t available until 2pm. I tried the wonton noodles and spring rolls instead. The soup was a bit bland, but the wontons were delicious and generously portioned. The spring rolls were crispy, though the cold dipping sauce was a little unusual. A nice bonus, there’s a discount for patrons staying at nearby hotels. ”
“ We enjoyed a lovely breakfast at Mei's while staying at the Best Western Grant Park. Service was amazing and our waiter was a treat to talk with during our meal. The food was good and the French toast is the best I have ever tasted. ”
“ Mei's is a hidden gem in the South Loop. Dropped about 45 on dinner, started with the Pork & Scallion Bao, then had the Szechuan Braised Beef Noodle Soup. The bao were crispy and juicy, and the noodle soup was rich and comforting. The vibe is chill, and the staff are friendly. Perfect spot for a cozy meal after a long day. ”
“ Breakfast is amazing. Staff is quick to respond and prices are very reasonable. This is our new favorite breakfast spot. ”
